Ratan Tata takes over as interim chairman for a period of four months.

Ratan Tata, the previous chairman and currently chairman emeritus, has been appointed as interim chairman for the next four months. To select a new chairman, a panel, comprising Ratan Tata, Venu Srinivasan, Amit Chandra and Ronen Sen, has been formed Cyrus Mistry was the sixth chairman of Tata, and had been a director of the company since 2006. In addition, he was also the chairman of some leading Tata group companies like Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Jaguar Land Rover Automotive and Tata Consultancy Services. So far, there is no news about his future role in the organisation.
